Committee Position

There is an opening on our Executive Committee for the position of Secretary. Unfortunately our Secretary has had to resign and the position needs to be filled. If you are interested in the role please let Fiona know.

Pines 50 metre Swimming Sessions

Last year we decided to add some 50m training experience for all squads in Nov and Dec. This was very popular so have decided at the clubs expense to run it again. We will have 4 training sessions at the Pines 50m outdoor pool as an extra training session each week. Sessions will be Nov 19th and 26th and Dec 3rd and 10th. All squads will train together from 8am – 9.30am. This is a great chance for the swimmers to gain experience and confidence in the longer pool. All swimmers are still expected to attend their normal training sessions, this is not an alternative but an extra session.

Login using the username and password you were given by S.V. when you registered at the beginning of the season

-          Click Register tab

-          Click next

-          Click next

-          Click enter event

-          Find the first event you wish to enter and click the box

-          Click next

-          Click submit (it will show the event you just selected)

-          Click on enter event again and follow the process for all the events you are entering

-          When all events have been entered continue on to make payment.

Please remember to bring the form in and check with your coaches on the events you wish to enter before going ahead and entering. It is very important that the wrong or too many events are entered. If you enter an event that has a qualifying time attached to it you must be able to swim under that time.

You will need to enter all the meets this way so please make sure you know your username and password and keep them somewhere in case you forget them.

Comittee Meeting Invitation Thursday 25 August

The swim club committee are having a meeting this Thursday 25 August at 6.15pm with Phil King at Kings Frankston. We would like to extend the invitation to all swim club parents to come and listen to Phil speak and have a Q&A session at the end. It is a great opportunity to hear about the fantastic future of Kings.

Date Change

As Sunday 4^th Sept is Fathers Day so we have changed the Frankston in house meet to Friday 2^nd starting at 6pm.

Training Sessions 2011-2012

Training sessions are now confirmed for the 2011 - 2012 season.  These are available for viewing by logging into the members page. Please be aware that Fiona must be notified of all Swimming Victoria registrations by the 1st of June.

All members (including existing) must provide a copy of their Swimming Victoria membership to Fiona by email.

Congratulations swimmers on an outstanding 2010 - 2011Season!

The last swimming session for the 2010 - 2011 season is Thursday 31 March.

The maintenaince season will commence on the 16 May or for those wanting a longer break 1st July.

2011-2012 Registration day will be at Frankston on Saturday 7 May 2 - 5pm and Narre Warren Sunday 8 May 3 - 5pm

Uniforms, goggles and caps will all be available to buy or order on the day and will need to be paid for before you receive them. Cash or cheque on the day will be fine. We will also have all the information on how to register with Swimming Victoria.

JX Achievement Award 2010

Kings Swim Club was awarded an Australian Swimming award as a part of the Australian Junior Excellence Awards.
We we ranked in the top 30% nationally in achieving JX timesand DIPS standards.
