Club/Squad membership

Club memberships does not automatically entitle a person to be a member of a squad trained by the Head Coach or other coaches as appointed.

Membership of a squad shall be at the discretion of the Head Coach.

In determining membership of a club swimming squad, the Head Coach shall have regard for the following guidelines:

  • Priority is to be given to swimmers who have graduated from the Kings Learn to Swim Program; and
  • Swimmers who were members of the Kings Swimming Club swimming squad and left to join another swimming club/squad must make an application in writing to the Head Coach in order to return.

The Head Coach has the discretion to offer scholarships to swimmers for the purpose of raising the standard of the senior squads. These scholarships permit entry into Frankston High School from Years 9 to 11.

The Head Coach has the discretion to determine the entry standard and training commitment to be met for membership of the club squad/s, the primary aim of which is to prepare swimmers for competition.
