When representing Kings Swimming Club at swim meets, swimmers should wear club bathers (or plain blue or black) and Club caps. Club polo shirts and shorts are also required. These items are available from the uniform coordinator. Swimmers should be proud to be part of the Club and display this through the wearing of uniform items at meets. A uniform top should always be worn during . Towels should not be worn to presentations.

When purchasing bathers decide what you want them for.

• Training bathers are best if made of endurance fabric (they last many times longer than normal bathers) and need to be comfortable.
• Racing bathers need to be lycra, not lined, and very tight. For girls, this means not being able to pull the straps more than 4-5 cm above the shoulders.

Warm-up can be done in training bathers, and the swimmer changes into dry bathers to await their swim.
